PURPOSE:To prevent artificial operation mistake and to utilize effectively an absence registration function by allowing an exchange side to make absence registration automatically when a reply signal from a mobile radio terminal equipment in reply with a position acknowledge signal is not detected. CONSTITUTION:In order to confirm a current position of the user of a telephone set, a control means 3 allows a position confirming means 5 comprising a master set of a cordless telephone set or the like to send position confirming information periodically. The means 5 sends a position confirmation signal to a mobile radio terminal equipment 6 comprising a cordless telephone set of a slave set or the like by using a weak radio wave or the like. The means 3 registers the absence to a master set or a slave set corresponding to a storage means 4 when a reply signal from the means 5 is not detected. When the means 3 detects a reply signal from the means 5, the absence registration is canceled. |
