<p>A nucleic acid sequence known as a 'polyribozyme' having endoribonuclease activity and capable of inactivating a virus capsid protein gene. Said sequence includes i) a complementary sequence of at least part of said gene, a transcript thereof or replication intermediates thereof, including in different parts of said complementary sequences: ii) a plurality of catalytic regions from ribozymes, and iii) optionally one or more non-complementary sequences of said gene transcript, said non-complementary sequence(s) being inserted between two consecutive bases in the complementary sequence.</p> |
