摘要 The invention relates to a device and method for cooling liquid and gaseous media by means of air, in particular an air-oil cooler for stationary and mobile hydraulics. Known devices and methods of this state of the art have problems with the rotating air turbulence produced by the fan. This air turbulence produces friction and reduces the flow velocity of the air and thus the efficiency of the device. The invention provides a remedy here by one or more webs (5) being arranged between the cooler (1) and the fan (2) in such a way that they divide the air-conducting cross-section into two or more chambers (16, 18), as a result of which rotational air turbulence is largely reduced. <IMAGE>
