The invention relates to a brick of parallelepipedal body, the brick being provided, on one of its long sides, with a part which projects beyond the parallelepipedal body. Preferably, the projecting part is disposed on the long side of the brick and at least virtually parallel over the entire length of the brick. In addition, the brick is preferably delimited, at the front and top and/or bottom, by curved boundary faces. The greatest width of the projection, measured in a direction parallel to a short side of the brick, is preferably located off- centre.
