<p>A drive system has at least one electric differential effect drive axle with two electric motors (M1, M2), one driving the right wheel and the other the left wheel. The current supplying the stator (ST2) of the second motor (M2) flows through the stator (ST1) of the first motor (M1). The current supplying the rotor (RO2) of the second motor (M2) flows through the rotor (RO1) of the first motor (M1). Control means (EP1, EP2) set the currents in the stators (ST1, ST2) and the rotors (RO1, RO2) according to information representing the angular position of said rotors (RO1, RO2).
