Device for making drill holes with an undercut

The device serves to make drill holes with an undercut in a construction element, in particular in a panel for lining walls or ceilings, the device consisting of a drilling tool with a drill head which has side and end cutting edges and projects axially beyond a stop plate during the drilling and cutting out of the undercut and the lateral displaceability of which is limited by stops. For simpler manipulation and for making drill holes which are exactly defined both in the drill-hole depth and with regard to the undercut, guide pins for an axially displaceable support plate are inserted in the stop plate of the device. The drilling machine with the clamped drilling tool is fastened to the support plate. The guide pins are provided with at least one encircling groove in which guide surfaces of the support plate engage when the drilling tool is lowered and the support plate is displaced radially.
