The boiler (1), which is arranged above a horizontal water heater (2), is mounted on a supporting arrangement (3). The charging conduit (10) can be closed off in sealed fashion by valves (11) on both sides of a separating point (13). Servicing work can thus be carried out on the water heater, without having to drain the water from the boiler (1). The water heater (2) can even be disassembled trouble-free without dismounting the boiler (1). <IMAGE>
