PURPOSE:To use the coloring reaction quite different from the conventional ones in order to improve the preservability of recorded images and recording surface and chemical resistance by a method wherein heat-sensitive recording material is provided with a heat-sensitive coloring layer utilizing coloring reaction between the compound represented by a special general formula and basic substance. CONSTITUTION:The heat-sensitive recording material is provided with a heat- sensitive coloring layer utilizing coloring reaction between the compound represented by the general formula separately shown and basic substance. In the formula, R is halogen atom, saturated or unsaturated chain hydrocarbon, aryl group, acyl group and others, n is an integer of 1-4 and R may be the same or different when n is an integer of 2-4. By the provision of the coloring layer utilizing the coloring reaction quite different from the conventional ones, a heat-sensitive recording material is obtained which is excellent in preservability of recorded images and recording surface and in chemical resistance. |
