PURPOSE:To reduce the noise emitting from the vehicle without reducing the original wet characteristic depending on plural lines of linear main grooves in a tire circumferential direction. CONSTITUTION:In a radial tire in which a center rib 2 partitioned by a linear main groove 1 is formed at least at the center of a tread, the ratio of the rib width WR of the center rib 2 to the grounding width W of the tread, WR/W; the ratio of the groove width Wc of a linear slender groove 6 to the rib width Wg of the center rib 2, Wc/WR; the ratio of the total sum VG of the volume of a lag groove 5 provided to the center rib to the volume VR of the center rib 2, VG/VR; and the ratio of the total sum WR of the groove width of the linear main groove to the grounding width W, WG/W; are set respectively as follows: 0.15<=WR/W<=0.30, 0<=Wc/WR<=0.15, 0<=VG/VR<=0.04, and 0.18<WG/W<0.25. |
