PURPOSE:To reduce the expenses for issuing the conventional exclusive card by making each credit card of customers utilizable to enter a room, in a system which uses the card as a rooming key at a hotel and so on. CONSTITUTION:At the time of checking in, a credit card 01 of a customer is inserted into a car reading means 1 of a center unit 02 at the front, registering it into a card data storage-reference means 3. At this time, a user room 03 is alloted to the customer. Next, when the customer inserts a terminal of the user room 03 into another car reading means 6, card contents and the user room number are transmitted to the card data storage-reference means 3 via a communication means 4 of the terminal 03, a communicating line 7, and another communication means 2, and collated with the registered data. Here, when a fact that the credit card 01 is one registered for the user room is confirmed, an open command of the user room door is imparted to a locking- opening mechanism 5 from the center unit by way of the communication means 4 of the user room terminal 03 via the communication means 2, and thus the user room door is opened. |
