PURPOSE:To provide an apparatus for the preparation of sprouted unpolished rice effective for shortening the period for the growth of unpolished rice sprout from unpolished rice and decreasing the consumption of water and to provide a process for the preparation of sprouted unpolished rice. CONSTITUTION:The apparatus 5 for the preparation of sprouted unpolished rice is composed of a net conveyor 24 to transport unpolished rice at a prescribed speed, a hopper 15 to continuously supply a prescribed amount of unpolished rice to the net conveyor 24, a spray 29 to supply water to the unpolished rice to grow the sprout of unpolished rice sprouted during the transportation on the net conveyor 24, a modified gas supplying unit 7A to supply the unpolished rice with modified gas controlled to promote the growth of the sprout of unpolished rice sprouted during the transportation process and a rotary valve 32 collecting the unpolished rice sprouted during the transportation with the net conveyor 24. |
