The phase control circuit includes a phase detector for detecting a phase of an input 3-phase power frequency, a clamping circuit for clamping a unsetting signal from the output signal of the phase detector, a phase controller for shifting the output signal of the clamping circuit to left and right sides, a sawtooth generator for generating a sawtooth wave, an amplifier, a reference voltage setting circuit for setting a reference voltage, a voltage comparing circuit for comparing the output signals of the amplifier and the reference voltage setting circuit, a soft start circuit for controlling the output signal of the reference voltage setting circuit, a current limiting circuit for limiting the output of the voltage comparing circuit, a phase comparing circuit for comparing the output signals of the sawtooth generator and the current limiting circuit, and a SCR driving circuit for controlling a conductive angle of a SCR, thereby reducing power consumption.
