PURPOSE:To efficiently cut a drain material without stopping the excavating work of a shield excavator. CONSTITUTION:A water nozzle mounting boss 11 is mounted on a cutter head 3 provided on the front surface of a shield excavator 1. An opening part 22 is further provided on a bulkhead 5 in the position coincident to the position of the water nozzle mounting boss 11. The opening part 22 has a gate 26 capable of opening and closing, and an exchange chamber 23 for a water nozzle 12 mounted on the water nozzle mounting boss 11 is provided in the opening part 22 in such a manner as to be capable of longitudinally sliding. A worker enters into the exchange room 33 to exchange the water nozzle 12.
