PURPOSE:To provide a graph generating device which can produce an easy-to-see graph by preventing the character string showing the coordinate value of the intersecting point of coordinate axes from overlapping the graph and the coordinate axes. CONSTITUTION:A data storing means 1 stores various data used for generating of a graph, and a layout means 2 lays out a graph from the element data and the attribute data stored in the means 1. A deciding means 3 decides whether the character string showing the coordinate value of an intersecting point is overlapping the coordinate axis and the graph graphic or not. If so, a relayout means 5 lays out the graph again at a position where the coordinate value does not overlap the coordinate axis and the graph. Then the relaid-out graph is sent to an output means 6. |
