PURPOSE:To provide a microcomputer for IC card which prevents execution of operation modes excluding a user mode after shipment of the microcomputer to a user. CONSTITUTION:A rest EEPROM area 61 includes an area where the shipment data 612 is written to show the shipment of a relevant microcomputer in a shipment mode. Meanwhile a shipment confirming routine 36 is set to confirm whether the data 612 is written or not before a branching routine 34 which branches each program by an external execution instruction. When a fact that the data 612 is written in the area 61 is confirmed in the routine 36, only a user mode is executable. |
