PURPOSE:To facilitate maintenance such as the adjustment of brake rods by supporting brake pedals in the suspended state, linking these brake pedals with the L-shaped brake rods, and disposing an engine between front and rear wheels. CONSTITUTION:In the case of a riding type rice-planting machine, an engine 15 is mounted onto the lower side of the driver's seat 14 of a riding body 1, and a hydraulic pump 17 is disposed below a maneuvering floor 16 and driven by the engine 15 through a belt. A handle post 3 with a power steering unit 31 and the like is disposed at the front part of the body 1, and lateral rear wheel side clutch brake pedals 4a, 4b are provided in the lower position of the post 3 in such a state as to be suspended at a supporting plate 41 fixed to the post 3. The respective pedals 4a, 4b are formed into L-shape, and the intermediate bent parts are linked with one ends of brake rods 44a, 40a linked with a crank arm 42 so as to actuate a brake shifter 45 by the depressing operation of the respective pedals 4a, 4b. |
