<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a semiconductor device, into which a PROM freely writing and reading series data without changing interface conditions is incorporated, by writing the holding data of a shift register to the PROM, controlling the shift direction by a control circuit and reading the data from the PROM. CONSTITUTION:Series data by a PROM writer, etc., from a terminal Din are held temporarily in the FF at an (n) stage, etc., of a shift register section 1. The data are written to the FF at an (n) stage of a PROM 2 controlled by a read-write signal WR, and the (n) control circuits S1-Sn of a control circuit group 3 are supplied with outputs from each FF. The shift direction is controlled by the circuits S1-Sn, and data read from the PROM 2 in response to the signal WR are output in series through a read circuit 9. Accordingly, a semiconductor device, into which the PROM freely writing and reading the data without changing interface conditions with an external device such as a PROM writer is incorporated, is acquired.</p> |
