PURPOSE: To provide a dry type analyzing element by which a variety of specific binding ligands can be quickly detected with a high sensitivity using a competitive binding or sandwich assay format. CONSTITUTION: An assay is executed using peroxidase-labeled immunological reactant. The peroxidase label is stabilized with 4-hydroxy or 4-alkoxyaryl acetoamide arranged in one or more segments of the element concerned. This ensures that the label is stabilized with a stabilizing agent and that the assay is carried out with a higher sensitivity.
