PURPOSE:To omit a mechanical seal to simplify the structure of the inside of a power reactor by passing an inert gas around the fuel cell and the piping in the power reactor and by setting the pressure of the gas higher than that of the air/fuel gas in the piping. CONSTITUTION:An N2 feeding piping 7 and an N2 discharging piping 8 are provided on a power reactor 1, and N2 is input from the N2 feeding piping 7 at a pressure a little higher than that in the piping around a fuel cell 2, an air feeding piping 3, a fuel gas feeding piping 4, a gas exhausting pipe 5 and a non-reactive air exhausting piping 6 that are provided in the power generator 1. Gas leak from the connection part and the like between each piping and the fuel cell is thus eliminated. N2 is flowed out from the N2 feeding piping 7 to the N2 discharging piping 8 in the reverse side, while the inside of the power reactor is purged. Thus, possibility of filling the fuel gas up and of its explosion can be avoided. |
