PURPOSE:To provide the development processing method which can stably process many sheets of positive type PS plates over a long period of time by using a developer to be cyclically used replenishing a liquid to be replenished, can reproduce developability at the time of the fresh liquid in spite of long-term processing by replenishing the development replenishing liquid and does not degrade dot reproducibility. CONSTITUTION:An alkaline developer for positive only to be cyclically used under replenishment of the development replenishing liquid by using an automatic developing machine is an aq. soln. contg. alkali silicate (for example, potassium silicate) and the development replenishing liquid is an aq. soln. contg. alkali silicate and nonionic surfactant (for example, polyethylene glycol of 1000 average mol.wt.) in the development processing method for developing the positive type photosensitive planographic printing plates with the developer mentioned above. |
