PURPOSE:To provide a radio LAN system which can automatically detect and remove a hidden terminal and can improve throughput. CONSTITUTION:A radio terminal 1d transmits a response request packet, a radio terminal 1a receiving this response request packet sends a direct response packet addressed to the radio terminal, a radio terminal 1c, which does not receive the response request packet sent from the radio terminal 1d but receives the direct response packet addressed to the radio terminal 1d, sends an indirect response request packet to the radio terminal 1d addressed to the radio terminal 1a sending the direct response packet, the radio terminal 1a receiving the indirect response request packet to the radio terminal 1d sends the indirect response packet from the radio terminal 1c addressed to this radio terminal 1d and when the number of indirect response packets addressed to the present terminal received by the radio terminal 1d or when a ratio between the number of received indirect response packets addressed to the present terminal and the number of received direct response packets address to the present terminal exceeds a fixed value, it is judged that the radio terminal 1d is the hidden terminal so as not to sent the packet containing user information. |
