A device for changing the timing of valves, particularly of a valve timing system or injection system, having a cam (1) connected through a pulley (2) and transmission member with a cam follower (6). The top end of the cam follower (6) is fitted to swing around at least one axis and the lower end of the cam follower (6) is fitted to swing around two axes, one of which being adjustable, whereas the link of the lower end of the cam follower (6) with the axis of the pin of the tappet (7) includes an acute angle with the link of the axis of the pulley (2) with the axis of the pin of the tappet (7).<IMAGE>
