<p>PURPOSE:To economically recover high purity rhodanate from a soln. contg. rhodanate obtd. by removing sulfur and cyanogen from a gas contg. hydrogen sulfide and hydrogen cyanide to make the gas harmless, by filtering the soln. with gel. CONSTITUTION:An aqueous soln. contg. rhodanate as the principal component obtd. by removing sulfur and cyanogen from a gas contg. hydrogen sulfide and hydrogen cyanide is filtered with gel to separate the rhodanate. The remaining soln. is used again as a soln. for removing sulfur and cyanogen. Practically nonionic hydrophilic gel such as cross-linked dextran gel, cross-linked polyvinyl alcohol gel, cross-linked polyacrylamide gel or cross-linked hydroxyalkyl (meth)acrylate polymer gel is used as the gel for filtration. The cross-linked hydroxyalkyl (meth)acrylate polymer gel is especially preferred from the viewpoint of separating performance.</p> |
