PURPOSE:To obtain thermal recording paper for a pressure-sensitive adhesive label which ensures preservability in relation to a plasticizer and a solvent and has a sufficient water resistance. CONSTITUTION:A thermal recording layer utilizing the color reaction of a colorless or light-colored basic dyestuff with a coloring agent which develops a color in contact with the basic dyestuff is provided on a paper substrate, and on the rear side of the paper substrate, a back coat layer containing soap- free type acrylic emulsion is provided. Besides, the back coat layer is made to contain an inorganic pigment of which the oil absorption based on a JIS-K-5101 rule is less than 50ml/100g and the soap-free type acrylic emulsion. |
