The self-injector for prefilled syringes allows emergency medications to be administered in the absence of specialized health personnel. It is formed of pieces of plastic, precision balls, a spring, and a syringe with water inserted and protected, prefilled with the injectable solution of the drug. It is operated by pressing the button D+E, which causes the expulsion of the balls O from their housings in B and, by action of the spring M which is compressed between the pieces B and F, the release of F, which at its lower end is directly linked to the plunger of the syringe. The piece A keeps the syringe centred, controls its advance during release and supports the force of the spring in its action on the plunger, releasing the drug. It can be fitted with syringes of different sizes, by modifying the dimensions of the cylinders d1, h1 and d2, h2. <IMAGE>
