Movable seat for a motor vehicle with a seat belt system

The seat has a safety belt system comprising a strap (12) attached to a lower anchoring point (18) by an upper end (17) of the strap. The anchoring point (18) is integrated to a lateral edge of a lower support (6) and is placed vertically in the same side as that of an upper anchoring point (14). The anchoring point is displaced only in a longitudinal direction with respect to a vehicle e.g. minivan. An anchoring point is provided in a side opposite to the anchoring point (18), for allowing the strap to pass over the chest and the abdomen of a user. An independent claim is also included for a motor vehicle comprising a movable seat.
