PURPOSE:To provide a digital mobile radio communication system in which the synchronization of a transmitting and receiving timing can be attained even at the time of adopting a CDMA system for an outgoing line and a TDMA system for an incoming line. CONSTITUTION:A CDMA transmitter 3 of a base station 1 is equipped with an encoder 10, a spreader 11 which spreads the frequency of the output 16 of the encoder, a modulator 12 which converts the spread signal into a high frequency signal, an a spreading code generator 13 which generates a spreading code 15. A CDMA receiver 4 of a mobile station 2 is equipped with a demodulator 19, an inverse spreader 20 which spreads the frequency of the output 25 of the demodulator, a decoder 22 which decodes the inversely spread signal 26, an inverse spreading code generator 21 which generates an inverse spreading code 27, and a timing extracting circuit 23 which controls the operation of the inverse spreading code generator. In the base station 1, the spreading code 15 is synchronized with a TDMA receiver 5 by a timing signal 14, and in the mobile station 2, a TDMA transmitter 6 is controlled by the timing extracting circuit 23. |
