摘要 PURPOSE: To provide a highly reliable and low-production-cost general purpose electronic drive circuit by monitoring and controlling a DC motor, using a low-voltage comparison circuit and a high-voltage comparison circuit which sense the movement state of the DC motor. CONSTITUTION: An electronic drive circuit 10 uses a dual bridge pulse width modulation motor driver integrated circuit 32 to drive a DC motor, and it drives the winding of a bipolar step motor or two DC motors of bidirectional control. Then, when a signal coming and going from an electronic drive circuit to needle trays 12 and 14 passes the connector 33 for DC motor, the low voltage comparison circuit 34 and the high voltage comparison circuit 36 sense the movement state of the DC motor, that is, the normal movement or the stall state, and this information is sent to an I/O port 20. Accordingly, this does not need an external switch or an optical sensor so as to decide when a paper feeder reaches any operation end. As a result, the drop of maintenance cost through the life of the circuit, the high reliability, and the reduced production cost can be obtained.
