<p>PURPOSE:To clarify the recognition validating range of a coordinate inputting device, and to exclude a detection error by always detecting the offset potential of a coordinate axis driving circuit. CONSTITUTION:This device is equipped with an analog system touch panel 1 as a coordinate inputting means, coordinate axis driving means 2 which impresses a voltage to the X-axial coordinate and Y-axial coordinate of the touch panel 1, conversion axis selecting means 3 which selects the X-axial coordinate information and Y-axial coordinate information from the touch panel 1, and inputs it to an analog/digital converter 5, selecting means 4 which selects the potential of the X-axis and Y-axis driving circuit of the coordinate axis driving means 2, and inputs it to the analog/digital converter, analog/digital converter 5 which converts the information(potential) selected by the conversion axis selecting means 3 or the selecting means 4 into a digital value, and control part 6. Then, the offset potential of the driving circuit of the touch panel 1 is converted into the digital value, and the value of the offset potential is subtracted from the digital resolution capability of the analog/digital converter 5.</p> |
