PURPOSE:To realize display in an approximately optimum display level by subjecting the graphic equalizer display level to expansion or compression processing for the entire band. CONSTITUTION:This apparatus consists of a noise comparing means 1 which compares the display level sum total value inputted to an equalizer circuit 11 from an audio signal generator 10 with the noise level sum total value, a level comparing means 2 which compares an optimum display level sum total value A with a display level sum total value B, a display level expansion means 3 which expands the display level in all of bands in the case of (the display level sum total value B)<(the optimum display level sum total value A), a display level compressing means 4 which reduces the display level in all of bands in the case of (the display level sum total value B)>(the optimum display level sum total value A), and a display means 5 which displays an approximately optimum spectrum on a graphic equalizer display device 15 through a display driver circuit 14. |
