<p>PURPOSE:To provide a microprocessor capable of easily designing a system using a dynamic RAM and reducing the loading area of the system. CONSTITUTION:In a data processor including a memory and a microprocessor CPU, a register for specifying an access to the dynamic RAM or an access to a static RAM (or ROM) is built in the CPU and constituted so that an address output format is changed in accordance with the contents of the register. The register is provided with a register for specifying the address range and capacity, i.e., the number of bits in an address signal, of the dynamic RAM.</p> |
