PURPOSE:To detect the pressure of a copy inhibit original in a short period with sample configuration by extracting picture data of a specific color in an input picture and checking a characteristics of the picture data two- dimensionally in a specific circular area. CONSTITUTION:An RGB picture signal read by a picture input device is fed to a color detection circuit 21, in which a picture in a specific color in the picture is extracted and it is stored in a buffer memory 24. Then a circular area of a specific diameter around a specific picture element is set and color data by plural lines are read out of the memory 24 in parallel and an in-circular area ON picture element total number detection circuit 26 detects number of ON picture elements in the circular area. Furthermore, an ON/OFF inversion total number detection circuit 27 detects the number of times of inversion of ON/OFF in the main and subscanning directions. When the total number of ON picture elements and the total number of ON/OFF inversions are set within a prescribed range, a discrimination circuit 28 discriminates it that a copy inhibit original is included to inhibit the output of the picture processing unit. |
