On an assembly tool (10) designed as a ratchet-type socket spanner (wrench) with nut socket tube (14) usable either way round, reinforcement embossings (22) with striking faces (24) are fashioned on the freewheel cover part (12), so that the tool can be used both for screwing tight or unscrewing hexagon head screws (bolts) and hexagon nuts and as a striking tool for driving in and loosening wedges or positioning components. To save weight, the handle part (11) consists of light metal and the freewheel cover part (12), exhibiting the reinforcement embossings (22) with the striking faces (24), is a steel forging. <IMAGE>
