Adhesives, sealants, coatings and polymer compositions containing monohydroxylated polydienes in hydroxyl functional resins

Adhesives, sealants, coatings and polymer blends are made by (i) reacting a monohydroxylated conjugated diene polymer having a peak molecular weight of from 500 to 20,000 with a diisocyanate to form an isocyanate functional polymer; (ii) reacting the isocyanate functional polymer with an epoxy resin or an acrylic resin having hydroxyl groups to form a modified resin; and optionally (iii) reacting the modified resin with a curing agent selected from isocyanates, melamines, and polyamines.
