PURPOSE:To provide a synchronous traveling controller of a self-propelled carriage that is synchronously travelable in a highly accurate manner and, what is more, inexpensive in the cost of equipment. CONSTITUTION:An endless rotator 9 such as a chain or the like is stretched across along a traveling route of a self-propelled carriage 1 in a synchronous traveling control zone A-B, while this controller is provided with a driving means 12 which drives the endless rotator 9 at a synchronous travel speed of the self-propelled carriage 1. In addition, this self-propelled carriage 1 is provided with a relative speed detecting means (for example, a rotor 16 and a rotary encoder 17) detecting a relative speed between the endless rotator 9 and one's own car, and a controller 8 controlling the travel speed of the one's own car so as to nake the detected relative speed come to zero, respectively. |
