The present invention relates to novel piperidine-triazine compounds of the formula (I) <IMAGE> (I) in which R1 is e.g. hydrogen or methyl, A1 is e.g. >N-CH3, R2 is e.g. -(CH2)2-6-, R3 is e.g. 2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-4-piperidyl or 1,2,2,6,6-pentamethyl-4-piperidyl, or -A1-R2- is a direct bond and, in this case, R3 is e.g. a group <IMAGE> is a group of the formula (IVa) or (IVc) <IMAGE> (IVa) <IMAGE> (IVc) q and m are e.g. zero, X1 is e.g. a group of the formula (Va) -A4-R9-A5- (Va) in which A4 and A5 which are identical or different are e.g. an >N-R8 group where R8 is e.g. hydrogen, 2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-4-piperidyl or 1,2,2,6,6-pentamethyl-4-piperidyl, R9 is e.g. -(CH2)2-6-, n is e.g. a number from 1 to 10, Y1 is e.g. OH, ONa, OK or a group -X1Z with Z being hydrogen or methyl and Y2 is e.g. hydrogen or methyl. The compounds of the formula (I) are effective as light stabilisers, heat stabilisers and oxidation stabilisers for organic materials.
