METHOD FOR SEPARATING POLYURETHANE COMPOSITE FOAM

PURPOSE:To separate a laminating material from a polyurethane foam of a composite foam comprising the material and the foam and to reuse the separated material. CONSTITUTION:A polyurethane composite foam comprising a polyurethane foam and a laminating material such as a resin, sheet, or metal plate bonded to at least one side of the foam is thermally treated at 180 deg.C or lower in a treating fluid mainly comprising water in a closed space to separate the laminating material from the foam. The separated laminating material does not undergo any change in qualities and can be reused as it is.
