PRODUCTION OF BI-CONTAINING OXIDE SUPERCONDUCTOR

摘要

PURPOSE:To produce a Bi-contg. oxide superconductor excellent in characteristics by inhibiting the formation of an impurity phase and making the impurity phase fine. CONSTITUTION:Powder having a compsn. satisfying 2:2:2:3 ratio of (Bi+Pb):Sr: Ca:Cu is formed by coprecipitation, Pt powder having 0.1-3mum particle diameter is added to the formed powdery starting material by 0.1-5wt.% and they are pelletized and heat-treated at 840 deg.C for 100hr in the air to produce the objective superconductor having a high fraction of a high critical temp. phase and 15,000 A/cm<2> critical current density at 77K. An impurity phase in this superconductor has been made fine.
