PURPOSE:To provide a jig positioning device which can perform stopper drive with a simple mechanism and at the same time can press a jig. CONSTITUTION:A support body 2b supports a stopper which is extended to a carrier path at the opposite side of a guide rail 1a so that it can be rotated freely, is engaged to the guide rail 1a so that it can slide freely, and is screwed to a feed screw 3b so that it can slide freely. The guide rail 1a carries in a jig. A cylinder 2b-1 rotates the stopper into the carrier path. The stopper stops the jig to be carried in and presses the jig to a reference stopper which is not shown here and is positioned at the rear of the jig. A drive motor 3a drives the support body 2b via the feed screw 3b. A control part detects the slit of an encoder 3a-2 and controls the rotation of the drive motor 3a, thus controlling the stopper at three positions of a zero point, a temporary stop position, and a positioning position and hence enabling the jig to be positioned between the reference stopper and a positioning stopper 2a. |
