<p>PURPOSE:To flexibly and adequately deal with the occurrence of a fault from each host side by storing printing internal information at the point of time of the occurrence of a trouble, and restarting printing function processing based on the stored printing internal information after the completion of other printing function processing. CONSTITUTION:A CPU controls a whole system control program 93 and a PDL interpreter program 84, etc., and when a received signal is a restart signal, reads the information of suspended printing from a memory, and restarts printing work. On the other hand, when it is not the restart signal, and in addition, in the case of error skip, reads out printing data in which the error occurred, and in the case of not an error skip instruction, and in addition, if it is the start signal of the printing, stores the internal state of the printing work in the memory. The printing internal information at the point of time of the occurrence of the error during the execution of the printing function processing is stored in this way, and the printing function processing based on the stored printing internal information is restarted after the completion of other subsequent printing function processing.</p> |
