<p>PURPOSE:To easily learn whether an input mode is switched or not without permitting a user to interrupt work by providing a monochromatic or multiple color light emitting device for the tip part or the shaft part of a pen-type input unit. CONSTITUTION:A red light-emitting part 4 is provided for the pen tip part 2. The red light-emitting part 4 shows a non-red state, white, for example, at a regular input mode, and it emits light in red only when the input mode comes to a correction mode. Thus, a stylus pen looks as if it were a red pen at the correction mode so as to attract user's attention. When the correction mode is terminated and a system returns to the regular input mode, the red light-emitting part 4 returns to the non-red state again, and the stylus pen looks, as if it were a black pen, for example. Even if a part of or the whole pen shaft part 1 are constituted to emit light and they are constituted to be combined, a function is not obstructed at all.</p> |
