摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To improve the design accuracy, and to shorten design time by utiliz ing a computer for work for determining arrangement of an optical system of a copying machine, and work for executing various simulations for the optical system. CONSTITUTION:The device is constituted of an optical system initial data input means S11 for inputting optical system initial data, an optical system initial arrangement calculating means S12 for calculating the optical system initial arrangement, based on the data inputted by the optical system initial data input means S11, a mirror inserting means S14 for inserting a mirror, bending an optical path and rearranging the optical system, and an optical path end adjusting means S18 for designating S17 an optical path end adjustment mirror, and coinciding the optical path end with an original platen by moving the designated mirror. By this constitution, the optical system initial data is inputted, the optical system initial arrangement is calculated, the mirror is inserted, and the optical path end is adjusted.</p>
