An electromagnetic pick-up retriever tool (10) having a number of interchangeable accessories to assist in locating, illuminating, viewing and retrieving both magnetic and non-magnetic objects such as small mechanical parts. The tool (10) has a pistol-like handle (12) which contains the power source (30) and circuitry (42) and which has a receptacle (36) which selectively receives various attachments such as a bendable/reformable wand (106) having an electromagnet (120) at the end. Illuminating lights (216, 308) and fiber optic viewers (16) may be selectively attached to the device. |
