The tool incorporates a rectangular platelike broaching blade (11), which has an additional main cutting edge (11b) to form the rebate side. One longitudinal edge (11d) has an L-shaped recess. The whole edge formed by the recess is sharpened to act as a cutting edge.The corner (11e) of the recess is rounded as is the tip between the cutting edges. The main body (3) has a central bore (5), and a recess (4) to hold the broaching blade. During a rotational movement, the cutting edges project over the main body.
