Electrohydraulic actuator in housing with deformable wall sections

The centrifugal pump (3) and its electric motor (2) are arranged together in a closed housing (7) which is filled with hydraulic fluid and connected by an opening (9) to the equalising reservoir (10).To minimise the vol. of the device, the housing has a deformable wall section pref. in the form of a rolling diaphragm (5) under a bonnet-shaped piston (4) jointed (6) to the actuating rod. Movement of this diaphragm is compensated by corresp. deformation of its counterpart in the equalising reservoir.
