An assembly to mix and dissolve gas into a liq. has a tank, into which a mixer reactor (2) projects vertically from above through a closed reaction pipe to form a reaction chamber with an impact surface (5) at the lower end. A gas pipe leads into the mixer reactor (2). The upper sector of the mixer reactor (2) has a connector (6) for the incoming liq. and behind which is a jet plate (7) in liq.-inflow direction (A). Lateral outlets (8) are located above the impact surface (5) for the gas-liq. soln., and lateral inlet openings (9) for the gas in the mixer reactor below the jet plate (7). A de-pressurising valve arranged at the lower end of the soln. tank, to which a pipe for the mixt. soln. is attached. The novelty is that the jet plate (7/70) is sub-divided in the area of its jet holes (14) into at least two plate parts (7a, 71b/70a to 70d) which move with respect to each other to effect self-cleaning of the jet plate (7/70).
