A copolyamide adhesive composition comprising a diamine component and a dicarboxylic acid component. The diamine component comprises at least two diamines and the dicarboxylic acid component comprises at least two dicarboxylic acids, wherein one of the diamines or dicarboxylic acids is an asymmetric mono-alkyl branched monomer, wherein the composition is free from aliphatic omega aminocarboxylic acids or lactams having 12 carbon atoms or less, and wherein the copolyamide has a Tg less than 100 DEG C. Use of such a copolyamide composition as a textile adhesive or a non-woven binder or for hot-melt bonding rigid materials.
