<p>To move or remove a workpiece (80) from a worktable (76), as for example a finished workpiece from a workstation, an elongate conveyer member (50), once it has been positioned so that at least a portion thereof is superposed over the finished workpiece, is lowered to contact at least one portion of the finished workpiece.
