LENGTHENING PIPE FOR THE FILTERING POT OF A RETURN FILTER

A lengthening pipe for the filtering pot of a return filter consists of a connecting pipe which projects from the free end of the fitering pot, and of a pipe secured to the connecting pipe. A sealing ring which does not project radially beyond the outer circumference of the connecting pipe is set into an annular groove which runs around the circumference of the connecting pipe. A metallic pipe is slid on radially projecting conical strips which extend in the axial direction and are arranged around the outer circumference of the connecting pipe, in the area between the annular groove and the filtering pot. The slid-on pipe is enlarged by the conical strip so as to ensure a reliable seat. A bead which extends into the annular groove is introduced into the slid-on pipe.
