A program for machining a work into a specified shape at specified places is written in advance. When the work is rotatively shifted from one specified place to another specified place to move the machining point representing the shape at the specified place, the center of the rotation and the surface of rotation are specified. Based upon the specified center and surface of the rotation a three-dimensional coordinate system is determined (step S3). Subsequently, a transformation matrix is made (step S5) in order to rotatively shift the point, which represents the shape at the specific place defined by the coordinate system thus determined, by a shift angle which is manually inputted through a console. By use of the transformation matrix, the machining data in the machining program at the specific place are converted to the machining data at the next specific place after the shift, thus creating a new machining program for the next place (step S6). |
